Service Alert
Study rooms are available for groups of two or more students in the library. A current college ID is required to reserve rooms. All group members must have a college ID present. College IDs will be kept at the library's front desk during your reservation time and returned to you once your time ends.
If you do not arrive within 10 minutes after your reservation time, your reservation will be forfeit. If you regularly book a room and do not show up, you may be banned from reserving study rooms in the future. All room occupants must agree to the terms and conditions upon signing up for a room. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave the room for any reason. If you or your group is asked to leave the study room two times during a semester because of disruptive behavior, you may be banned from reserving study rooms in the future. Each Study Room is equipped with a white board.
Whether you are looking to study with friends or spend time alone, the library has a space to fit your needs. The first level of the library contains computers, study tables, and soft seating for groups and individuals. The second level of the library is divided into two sections - a quiet space and a collaboration space. The quiet space contains study carrels and soft seating, while the collaboration space contains small and large study tables. Please keep your conversations to a minimum in the quiet space. All seating is available on a first come, first serve basis.
The library provides fifteen (15) computers for students, faculty, staff, and community users. Computers use the Windows 10 operating system, and each computer has the latest version of Microsoft Office Suite installed. The library provides access to printers (B&W, Color), a copier, and a scanner.
Students may print up to 200 pages per semester at no cost. If the limit is reached, the student must speak to the IT Department. The three desktops on the western side of the downstairs computer lab have color printing capabilities. Each color page counts twice for students. A scanner is available for student use; it may also be used for photocopying purposes – black and white only. Students have a 15-page limit on photocopies. Speak with library staff if you need more copies or color copies.
Two portable white boards are available for people to use on the second level of the library. Please use with care. White boards are available on a first come, first serve basis.
